![]() ![]() Maybe you enjoy games that are more straightforward than gemcraft is. But honestly, this game is not that difficult (i haven't tried Iron Wizard mode yet so i can't comment on that). You say you enjoy difficult games and you like a good challenge. But why post about it on a forum where everyone will tell you that you simply suck at the game? Maybe you enjoy reading posts from random online people telling you that you suck at something? It just boggles my mind is all. Which is fine by itself, everyone ragequits from time to time. Instead of taking their time and try to figure it out (read guides, ask for advice, trial and sometimes lots of error, etc), they yell about cheats/hacks and then often give up. It's funny how some people proclaim that a game cheats or a person hacks when they can't figure out how the game works or how a person can be much more skilled in a game than they are. But I hate cheaters, and this game is a big time cheater. If I play so it looks like I am a loser and am going to lose, the obelisk only zaps one or two of the enemies to double or triple power. The thing is programmed so the more it looks like I am going to win, the more enemies the obelisk zaps to double or triple power. Then there is one map with an obelisk that zaps the enemies occasionally to make them double or triple powered. If I give up the bonus to skills and talismans and start with full mana, the enemies go back to normal speed, but the map is unbeatable because of no skills and talismans. If I take the benefits from skills or talismans, even with the penalties to the beginning mana, and it looks like I am going to win? The enemies suddenly start moving at double speed. I have been trying every single combination available to beat various maps without orb banishment and it is impossible. ![]() Except it won't, because if you take the bonus mana on enemy kill, you will start with 400 mana initially. If you have 500 mana to start a map and they offer your more mana on an enemy kill, you think "great! it will be easier to win". But if you actually take them up on the offer of a bonus, they steal your beginning mana! For instance. Then after beating maps it offers you a bonus of more mana on killing an enemy or less gem cost, etc. The game gives you a set amount of beginning mana. I enjoy beating a map without any banishments by the orb.Īfter playing the game for awhile it is obvious it is programmed to cheat. 1/30/2024 0 Comments Invoice factoring![]() Companies that are tight for cash are forced to make hasty decisions that may limit or cut off long-term potential. Lack of funds may also prevent a company from taking advantage of opportunities, such as partnering with a significant new store in time for the holidays or going global. Almost every owner of a small business has experienced the anxiety of worrying about whether they will be able to pay their employees’ wages or some other important business obligation. In particular, for businesses with limited resources and slow-paying clients, factoring eases cash flow worries during a quiet period. This occurs under the agreed-upon terms, less a nominal factoring fee of anywhere from one to five percent. The remaining invoice value is released to you after the factor receives payment from the final consumer. This happens directly through a notice of assignment. The factoring business authenticates your invoices, advances up to 90% of the invoice face value, and then pursues payment from your clients directly for those invoices. Once you have been given the go-ahead to deal with the factor, you can sell your unpaid receivables to increase operating capital and get rid of the wait caused by extended payment terms. They’re often referred to as just a “factor”. What Is a Factoring Company?Ī finance partner known as a factoring company buys your invoices in return for cash. In some instances, invoice factoring can also get referred to as debt factoring or accounts receivable factoring. Ultimately, this helps with factoring all your invoices. For example, if you have invoices that are overdue or still outstanding, FreshBooks will automatically identify them. FreshBooks is an intuitive invoicing software that makes tracking invoices as easy as possible. Invoices don’t have to be a challenge to stay on top of or organize. Long before their clients pay their bills, it enables small firms to access the cash worth of their invoices. To avoid any misunderstanding, the terms “factoring” and “ accounts receivable financing” are frequently used interchangeably. It has no effect on your credit like regular bank financing because it’s a sale rather than a loan. The remaining balance is then paid to the seller. A portion of the total invoice amount is retained by the factoring company as revenue until the whole amount of the invoice has been paid. The factor typically takes on the duty of collecting the invoice in factoring scenarios. Instead, it gets up to 90% of the invoice amount within a few business days. In exchange, the business doesn’t have to wait for the 30, 60, or 90-day term mentioned on the invoice. Keep reading to learn all about invoice factoring, including how to collect payment, factoring costs, pros and cons, and more!īy selling a select number of unpaid invoices to a factor for less than what is due, a business can use invoice factoring to get the extra cash it needs. But is there invoice factoring cost? Can you factor invoices to a third party factoring company? These are all great questions to ask, especially if you have slow paying customers. This is where invoice factoring comes into play. And this can be hard to achieve if there are outstanding invoices. But what if your customer fails to pay on time? Does this affect your invoice processing ability? Small businesses want to do everything they can to have positive cash flow instead of poor cash flow. Staying on top of outstanding invoices and accounting for hidden fees is a normal part of accounts receivable. ![]() If pounds and inches are used, a conversion factor of 703 (kg/m 2)/(lb/in 2) is applied. The BMI is expressed in kg/m 2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres. Additional metrics, such as waist circumference, can be more useful. Nevertheless, due to its simplicity, it has come to be widely used for preliminary diagnoses. Keys explicitly judged BMI as appropriate for population studies and inappropriate for individual evaluation. The interest in an index that measures body fat came with observed increasing obesity in prosperous Western societies. In this paper, Keys argued that what he termed the BMI was "if not fully satisfactory, at least as good as any other relative weight index as an indicator of relative obesity". The modern term "body mass index" (BMI) for the ratio of human body weight to squared height was coined in a paper published in the July 1972 edition of the Journal of Chronic Diseases by Ancel Keys and others. According to Lars Grue and Arvid Heiberg in the Scandinavian Journal of Disability Research, Quetelet's idealization of the average man would be elaborated upon by Francis Galton a decade later in the development of Eugenics. Quetelet thought of the average man as a social ideal, and developed the body mass index as a means of discovering the socially ideal human person. Instead, it was a component of his study of l'homme moyen, or the average man. ![]() Quetelet himself never intended for the index, then called the Quetelet Index, to be used as a means of medical assessment. Īdolphe Quetelet, a Belgian astronomer, mathematician, statistician, and sociologist, devised the basis of the BMI between 18 as he developed what he called "social physics". ![]() When used to predict an individual's health, rather than as a statistical measurement for groups, the BMI has limitations that can make it less useful than some of the alternatives, especially when applied to individuals with abdominal obesity, short stature, or unusually high muscle mass.īMIs under 20 and over 25 have been associated with higher all-cause mortality, with the risk increasing with distance from the 20–25 range. Major adult BMI classifications are underweight (under 18.5 kg/m 2), normal weight (18.5 to 24.9), overweight (25 to 29.9), and obese (30 or more). The BMI is a convenient rule of thumb used to broadly categorize a person as underweight, normal weight, overweight, or obese based on tissue mass ( muscle, fat, and bone) and height. The BMI may be determined using a table or chart which displays BMI as a function of mass and height using contour lines or colours for different BMI categories, and which may use other units of measurement (converted to metric units for the calculation). The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is expressed in units of kg/m 2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres. Body mass index ( BMI) is a value derived from the mass ( weight) and height of a person. 1/30/2024 0 Comments Igp we need to go deeper soloThe following output from debug ip cef table shows that routes with next hops which cannot be immediately resolved are queued for later processing. ![]() This recursive resolution is performed only in response to routing updates, not per packet, but it does introduce significant convergence delays. In this case, this requires three lookups: In order for CEF to resolve the next hop address of, for example, 2001:db8:0:4::1, it must perform a recursive lookup for every hop in the BGP path. The full-mesh requirement can be overcome by carefully designating intermediate routers as route reflectors, but we're still left with the issue of excessive route recursion. If IBGP is used as an IGP, this presents severe scaling problems every router would have to peer with every other router on the network. The Full Mesh Requirement and Route Recursionīy default, a BGP router will not advertise a network learned from one IBGP peer to another. By default, no meaningful metric is carried by IBGP advertisements within an autonomous system (AS). In all cases, the route with the lowest metric wins.īGP, on the other hand, employs a rather complex path selection process to determine the best route for a destination. All of these are easily tuned to meet the needs of the network operators. EIGRP uses a combination of overall delay and minimum available bandwidth, whereas OSPF and IS-IS use link cost. IGPs determine the best path for a destination based on relatively simple metrics. While it may be desirable to always statically configure neighbors in any routing protocol for security reasons, dynamic neighbor discovery is a valuable feature for less hands-on network deployments. BGP, by contrast, requires the explicit configuration of all neighbors. ![]() One of the major features of all modern interior routing protocols is the ability to automatically discover and form adjacencies with neighboring routers on links with broadcast capability. Rather, it explains why IBGP is a poor choice for the role given the availability of alternative protocols. It is important to understand that this article does not assert that IBGP cannot function as an interior routing protocol. ![]() This article discusses five major weaknesses of IBGP as interior routing protocol. Although this is typically and appropriately dismissed as a bad idea, few people take the time to examine the reasoning behind the conclusion. The term "internal" leads many newbie networkers to consider the potential deployment of IBGP as an interior routing protocol. The same protocol is run in either case, with just a few tweaks to the way route advertisement is handled. ![]() A BGP adjacency can be described as either internal (between two routers in the same autonomous system) or external (between two routers in different autonomous systems). 1/30/2024 0 Comments Charles starkweather![]() ![]() and Carol King, who unfortunately gave their killers a ride-are when things really go off the rails and they escalate the savagery of their crimes. The brutality of the crimes committed during Fugate and Starkweather’s spree at times rivals the cinematic exploits of their Hollywood counterparts. The character of “The Kid” from Stephen King’s epic 1978 novel The Stand was (according to King) based on Starkweather. Their gruesome story is also paralleled in Quentin Taratino’s script for 1993’s splatter-fest True Romance, and was the basis for the 1973 flick Badlands. The pair served as inspiration for actor Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis’ portrayals of “Mickey and Mallory Knox” in Oliver Stone’s over-the-top 1994 film Natural Born Killers. The only difference was that both Fugate and Starkweather survived and were finally apprehended after leaving eleven people dead in their wake-including Fugate’s parents and her two-year old sister who Starkweather stabbed to death.
